worked for the electricity board
quit that job
caught trains from Wales to Hong Kong
stayed in poland with some cool girls
got lost in moscow
made a friend in mongolia and gave him my tshirt
made a snowman in beijing
sweated in hong kong
went a saw jeans being made
took photos for a nice company
went to Australia again
worked in Australia a little
lived in garage with resident snakes, rats and spiders
surfed ALOT
hung with old friends
went to Tasmania again
camped, Surfed, Fished and drank whisky with good friends
spent time in Sydney with my sister
went to sweden with a rad group of people to take photos
rowed around a lake at 3am for shots
lived in wales and put up big tents
shot a cool wedding
surfed more than I worked
saw robin hood
moved back to the south coast
worked making smoothies for two weeks
hung with old friends
went to the alps to take photos
ended up spending two weeks in the french alps
rode bikes down mountains
fell off a fair few times
moved back to north devon
worked with friends in the best surf shop
surfed alot
got in trouble for surfing when I was supposed to be working
attended the ‘Do Lectures’ as resident photographer
met some inspiring people
shot another cool wedding
did more photo work than surfing
bought some second hand bikes and trailers
rode them from north devon to southern france
surfed the whole way
took many pictures
made a blog
got sick
got better(ish)
went to argentina to take photos
spent two weeks with some rad people in patagonia and learnt welsh
didn’t learn spanish
spent a week in a cottage in devon with my family and six dogs
took my dog, vincent, for many walks
surfed alot
drove to newcastle
shot and atteneded a good friends wedding in the snow
just about made a living from taking photos (if you forget the smoothies and surfshop)
flew in a plane 14 times
caught 24 trains
broke one car
bought one car
bought 8 cameras
met some frikken cool people
ended the year broke
had (possibly) the best year of my life so far.
