Just spent the last week or so shooting the new range of winter jackets for UK based howies. Somehow I managed to persuade them to box up the jackets and send them to me to shoot Australia. With winter still lingering down here in tassie, I grabed a bunch of mates, tents, canoes, big rucksacks and hit the wilderness for some adventures in the lakes and mountains.
What a time!
My photos have just been used in two new howies ad campaigns in various magazines. I dig the skate with your heart one.
A few months back I had the great job of shooting a portrait of UK climbing legend Paul Pritchard, for a new book by Huw Lewis-Jones & Polarworld. The book titled ‘Mountain Heroes: Portraits of Adventure’ is out this month, and looks yummy.
Earlier this year I had the great job to shoot all the images for a new cookbook by the guys at Pieminister. Working together with the awesome peeps at Harris + Wilson and my good buddies at A-Side Studio we ate pies, made cheese, ate pies, shot pheasants, ate pies, had a fake second christmas, ate pies and ate pies.
A very good job indeed.
The book is relaeased in a few days on September 1st and available from the usual suspects including Amazon. Rad.
Wow, there has been a serious lag in updates on this news reel of late, apologies for that, I promise I’ll try and keep on top of that now, there is plenty to talk about and plenty of photos…

After six weeks back in the motherland working on a few commisions, I’m back in hobart, tasmania, getting on with life and all is good.
A few weeks back I popped back to west Wales for another howies shoot. Another awesome time with old friends and new.
